It is always surprising to find out that scarcely populated area were once thriving. Those roman ruins are in the middle of nowhere, in a rural area of Corrèze. They are what remains of two buildings: a temple and thermal baths that were part of a roman villa.
On this photo you can see the temple. Surprisingly huge stones are scattered as if they had voluntarily been pulled down. Few of them can be identified as pillars or water basin, but they are mostly large pieces of stone.
