The castle of Dourdan from the outside

An outside view of the castle of Dourdan. It was build as a simple square and this view is from the north eastern side. The tower in the background is the keep. The stone bridge in the foreground is not the main entrance which is located on the south western side. The castle contains a local museum with an interesting collection of rare books.
