Saint Ayoult church interior

A view of the inside of the Saint Ayoult church in the lower town of Provins. It was built as part of a monastery in the 11th century and later modified in the 13th. In the 16th century, a wall was built inside the church to separate it in two parts, one for the parish, the other for the monks. This wall was later replaced by pillars.
The curch is in fairly good state, except for the vaults that are collapsing in places and had to be strengthened.
