Château de la Madeleine

The Château de la Madeleine, above the town of Chevreuse. Once occupied by the English troops during the hundred years war, this stronghold and its control proved vital thoughout the middle ages. It is rather well preserved, but only part of it can be visited, most of its space being used as a home for the Chevreuse Valley natural park offices.
