Blue pond on the hill

A common scene on the ridges that surround parts of the Fontainebleau forest. These ponds are formed in Fall and Winter, gathering water from the rain, and are very reduced in size in Summer. During the very dry and hot Summer of 2003, some of them had almost totally disappeared.
