Corsican mouflon sheep rams

This photo was taken near the Sancy. We had heard that there were corsican mouflon sheep in these mountains, but were first only able to see some sleeping on distant rock platforms during the day. In the evening, as hikers departed, they all came down the valley. We saw several groups quietly roaming in our area and got close enough to these rams for this shot (taken with a 300mm lens with a x1.4 teleconverter.
