Lieutenance of Honfleur

This building is located on the side of the Vieux Bassin of Honfleur. It is called the Lieutenance because it used to be the home of the lieutenant of the King in the 17th century. It was part of an extensive fortification system that no longer exists.
The lieutenance is now home to the harbour offices.
