On the Palais de Chaillot stairs

Two lovers make a pause on their way to the top esplanade of the Trocadero, apparently looking at one of the massive sculptures that dot the building.
This photo was taken rather early, but a long pause was necessary as the light was already wuite dim as shown by the moving flag on top of the building.
The Palais de Chaillot is actually quite difficult to photograph at night. The type of lighting used and the clear color of the stone of the building created large areas of nearly pure white on many of the photos I took. Shooting early is necessary to avoid blooming even if the skies are less interesting.
