The fortress of Corte - vertical view

The fortress of Corte, on a rather gloomy day. We took advantage of the cloud cover to make a strenuous but worthwile hike in the nearby Tavignano valley. We came back at night, totally exhausted, but quickly found some comfort in an excellent restaurant called "U Museu", located very near the fortress and its museum.
