Saint Nicolas church is located in to a small square in downtown Nantes. It is difficult to have a clear view from reasonably far, hence the tilted wide angle look of this photo. I took it on a quiet Sunday morning as people were gathering for mass.
The church had just been renovated and its walls were of an almost pure white.
