On a map, the Quiberon peninsula looks like a long claw pointing towards south. Its eastern coast is extensively built, but the western coast that faces the Atlantic is mainly moors on top of cliffs overlooking the sea. A road goes along the cliffs, as well as numerous walking paths, making it the ideal Sunday afternoon walk.
As this area is right along the sea, you can see quite far and on overcast days watch the clouds and rain rushing towards the coast.
