| Burgundy is a region located in eastern France. It takes its name from a german tribe, the Burgundians (Burgondes) that inhabited it during the dark ages. Later on, Burgundy was a duchy that strongly opposed the French kingdom. Today, the region is famous for its wine, cattle and traditions. Most of the photos of this gallery were taken in only one part of Bugundy: the mountainous region of Morvan, where we went in October, the best season for a visit in this region. |
