Horse city

This horseman proudly stands near one of the entrances of the Grandes Ecuries in Chantilly. The stables are part of the domain owned and maintained by the Institut de France. When he first visited it, President Richard Nixon reportedly asked: "why did you take me seven times to Versailles and never to Chantilly?"
