This large building used to be outsized stables used by the Chantilly castle owners that once hosted 240 horses and 500 hunting hounds. They are now one of the most beautiful horse museums in the world. It is nicknamed "living horse museum" as it presents a show in addition to its numerous exhibits.

The racing track in the foreground is used in many events throughout the year including the famous Prix de Diane.
