Royaumont Abbey church spire

This is all that remains of the church of the Abbey. Though it was never abandoned, the abbey was severely damaged during the French revolution and its church was destroyed in 1792. This is all what remains of it. One can only guess that this building was even more impressive than the remaining ones.
