About France in Photos
Ever since we met, we started travelling together. We chose destinations within France, first because it was more affordable, but then because we realized there was so much to discover in our country that it would take our whole life to see it all. Whe have already been to many regions: Alsace, Loire Valley, Languedoc, Brittany, Normandy, Picardie, Charentes, Champagne, Morvan, Dordogne, but when we look at locations we visited on a map, it still looks depressingly empty.
This website was first created to be a kind of online travel diary. Its original name was "Outdoor Photos". We then switched to "France in Photos" to better reflect its contents and started to provide more information about the regions we travelled. One of our aims is to show people wishing to visit France the wealth of landscapes and architectural heritage they can find by going a bit further Paris and the best known areas.
If you are among the 75 million visitors that France gets every year, take a look at what our country has to offer and if you liked your stay, do not hesitate to drop us a line!
